THE CHALLENGE
Traditional professional platforms often reduce people to job titles, formal education, and linear career paths. This leaves meaningful experiences such as caregiving, freelance work, independent learning, community leadership, and personal development largely unseen.
LINKED LIFE is a concept model exploring how a digital platform could recognize a broader range of experiences and transform them into a trusted, continuous record of personal and professional growth.
THE AUDIENCE
LINKED LIFE was conceived for professionals, independent workers, caregivers, students, and people moving through career or life transitions.
These users needed more than a static professional profile. They needed a credible way to document nontraditional experiences, validate transferable skills, understand their progress, and identify new opportunities based on the full context of their lives.
THE SOLUTION
LINKED LIFE was developed as a concept model for a digital growth platform that connects personal experiences, professional achievements, continuous learning, and trusted validation within one evolving system.
Research into portfolio careers, workforce transitions, digital credentials, skills-based hiring, lifelong learning, and artificial intelligence shaped a platform where trusted partners could validate experiences, and AI-guided recommendations could help users identify patterns, opportunities, and meaningful next steps.
THE CORE IDEA
LINKED LIFE proposes a more complete way to understand human potential. Rather than separating personal and professional growth, the platform recognizes how experiences across work, education, caregiving, creativity, and community participation can build valuable skills over time.
Connected pathways, verified milestones, personalized recommendations, and a continuous life record brought the concept to life. The visual system used linked forms, layered information, and flexible digital applications to communicate connection, momentum, credibility, and possibility.
THE LEARNING
Journey mapping, ecosystem development, audience scenarios, interface exploration, and AI-assisted visualization helped translate a complex human need into a focused conceptual platform.
The project strengthened my ability to apply systems thinking and human-centered research to connect identity, experience, validation, and opportunity into a cohesive product and brand strategy.
